My Experience
Raccoon Revenge is a game I worked on for MassDigi during my internship with them. This projects was full of many hurdles and while they were difficult to overcome at times I learned a lot from them. Raccoon Revenge was game that came out of MassDigi's Summer Innovation Program which meant it was an in progress project started by another team. Lack of documentation left by the previous team and a number of Team member shakeups created a lot of difficulties while working on the project. Our Producer had to leave half-way through the project and an inexperienced producer took their place, the new producer also had to leave partway through as well and our organization and communication suffered due to it. Seeing the breakdown in communication I worked with the Design and Art leads to create new asset delivery pipelines, task tracking and source control forms. This got our team back on track for our final and biggest update to the game which overhauled and adjusted many systems and mechanics that players weren't finding engaging. This project helped me a lot with stepping into a more challenging leadership position.
